Deputy High Commissioner Mark Gooding had a two-day visit to jaffna on 12-13 January 2009 to assess the humanitarian and security situation in jaffna dsitrict. During the visit he met various people including the Jaffna SF Commander, Goverment Agent and the Bishop. He also visit a IDP camp.
